Hosting,
Without The
Headache

I'm Donaldson, an independent hosting and IT specialist. I run tailored, fully managed web hosting so you never have to think about servers, updates, or security again.

No jargon, no server panel logins, no call centre reading from a script. You get in touch, I sort it out, and your website simply stays online, fast, and up to date.

Fully managed — you never touch a server
Unlimited storage & bandwidth
Modern, high-performance infrastructure
One real person, not a ticket queue

You really don't need to understand any of this

Web hosting is the space on a server that keeps your website switched on and reachable, 24 hours a day, for anyone who types in your address. Without it, a website simply doesn't exist online — it's just files sitting on someone's computer. That part is genuinely useful to know. Everything else — which server, which control panel, which security settings, which backup schedule — is exactly the kind of thing I don't think you should have to learn. That's what I'm here for.

What "fully managed" actually means here

You won't be handed a login to some hosting control panel and left to work it out. Updates, security patches, backups, monitoring, renewals — I do all of it myself, quietly, in the background. If something ever needs your attention, I'll tell you in plain English, not in server error codes.

Powerful servers, without the ego

Your site runs on modern, high-performance infrastructure — fast NVMe storage, up-to-date server software, and proper daily backups. That part matters, because it's what keeps your site quick to load and resilient when something goes wrong. But I'm not going to fill this page with server specs to try to impress you. My actual focus is people who aren't technical, or who are technical enough elsewhere in their lives and simply don't want one more thing to manage. If your website loads fast and never gives you a headache, the infrastructure behind it is doing its job — whether or not you ever know its name.

Three ways to work together

All three are fully managed and genuinely unlimited on hosting resources. The difference is how much of the ongoing website work you'd like taken off your plate too. No prices listed here — get in touch and I'll walk you through what actually fits your site.

What actually counts as an "edit" or an "SEO action"

I'd rather explain this upfront than leave you guessing what's included.

  • A website edit, in practice

Updating a price, swapping or adding a photo, changing a paragraph of text, fixing a typo, updating opening hours or contact details, adding a short new section to an existing page — the kind of small, regular changes most websites need over time.

  • An SEO action, in practice

Improving a page's title and description so it's clearer to Google, adding or refreshing content aimed at a specific search term, making sure new pages actually get indexed, fixing technical issues that hurt ranking, or reviewing how a page performs in search and adjusting it.

  • What doesn't fit inside the monthly allowance

A full redesign, adding a completely new section of the site (like an online shop), or a large one-off project. Those are quoted separately and honestly, rather than quietly eating your entire month's allowance.

  • If you don't use them

Unused edits and SEO actions simply don't roll over. Each month resets — there's no banking them up, and there's no penalty either. It keeps things simple for both of us.

How it actually works

  • 1
    You get in touch

WhatsApp, email, or Telegram — tell me about your site and what you're hoping for.

  • 2
    I have a look

I check what platform your site runs on and what it actually needs, technically.

  • 3
    You get a clear quote

A straightforward number for the plan that fits, explained in plain English, no fine print.

  • 4
I move or set up hosting

Existing site or brand new one, I handle the technical side end to end, without any downtime.

  • 5
You send requests as you need them

A message with what you'd like changed is all it takes — I take it from there.

  • 6
You get on with your business

Hosting, security, backups, and (if included) edits and SEO, quietly handled in the background.

Frequently asked questions

1. What actually is web hosting, in plain English?

It's the space on a server that keeps your website switched on and reachable at all times. Think of it as the plot of land your website is built on — without it, there's simply nowhere for your site to exist online.

2. What does "fully managed hosting" mean?

It means you're not handed technical access and left to manage it yourself. I handle updates, security, backups, and troubleshooting directly. You get a website that works, without needing to understand how.

3. Is the hosting really unlimited?

Yes, in the sense that matters to almost every small business or personal site: storage and bandwidth aren't capped at some low figure designed to force you into a more expensive plan. Extremely unusual, high-traffic cases are discussed openly and honestly, not silently throttled.

4. Do I need any technical knowledge to use this service?

No. That's rather the point. You tell me what you need in plain language, and I handle every technical step myself.

5. What kind of servers do you actually use?

Modern, high-performance infrastructure with fast NVMe storage and an up-to-date software stack. I won't dwell on the technical specifications here, because the people I work with generally care about one thing: does the site load quickly and stay online. It does.

6. Can you migrate my existing website to your hosting?

Yes. I move the entire site — files, database, and email routing where relevant — test it thoroughly, and switch everything over without your visitors noticing any downtime.

7. Does this work for WordPress sites specifically?

Yes, along with most other common platforms and plain HTML sites. WordPress in particular benefits from proper managed hosting, since it's the platform most prone to security and performance issues when left unmanaged.

8. What's included in the basic Hosting plan?

Unlimited storage and bandwidth, a free auto-renewing SSL certificate, daily backups, ongoing security monitoring, and me personally handling every technical update. No website edits are included at this level — that's what the next plan adds.

9. What exactly counts as one of the 5 monthly website edits?

Small, everyday changes: a price update, new or swapped photos, a paragraph of text rewritten, a typo fixed, updated contact details. A full redesign or a brand-new section of the site is quoted separately, honestly, rather than consuming your entire allowance in one go.

10. Do unused edits or SEO actions roll over to the next month?

No. Each month resets on its own. If you don't use all 5, they don't carry forward — but there's no penalty either. It keeps the whole arrangement simple and predictable for both of us.

11. What does the SEO part of the top plan actually involve?

Practical, ongoing work aimed at getting your site properly indexed and better positioned in Google search: refining page titles and descriptions, updating content around the terms people actually search for, fixing technical issues that hurt ranking, and reviewing how pages are performing.

12. Can you guarantee a first-page Google ranking?

No, and honestly, anyone who guarantees that isn't being straight with you — nobody controls Google's algorithm. What I can guarantee is consistent, genuine effort every month toward better visibility, not a one-off tweak followed by silence.

13. Why isn't there a price list on this page?

Because a fair price depends on your actual site: its size, its platform, its current state, and how much ongoing work you want from me. A generic number wouldn't be honest. Message me and I'll work out a clear, specific quote with you.

14. What payment methods do you accept?

Payments run through Stripe, so I can accept all major credit and debit cards, digital wallets, and most local payment methods, wherever you're based. Your financial details are encrypted end-to-end and never pass through my hands directly.

15. Do you offer any guarantee if something goes wrong?

Yes. If a technical migration genuinely can't be completed cleanly, you're not charged for a job that didn't deliver a working result. And if you change your mind before any work begins, I refund you in full — no fine print.

16. I'm not technical at all — is that a problem?

Not remotely. In fact, that's exactly who this service is built for. You describe what you need in your own words, and I translate it into the technical steps myself.

17. Can I move away from your hosting later if I want to?

Yes. Your domain and content remain yours. If you ever decide to move on, I'll help make that transition as smooth as the one that brought you here.

18. Do you also set up professional email addresses?

Yes, as part of hosting set-up I can configure a mailbox on your own domain — either directly on your hosting or connected to Apple iCloud+ if you'd rather keep using Apple Mail.

19. How is this different from a big hosting company?

You're speaking directly to the person doing the actual technical work, every time, not a rotating support team reading from a script. There's no upsell funnel, no confusing tiers designed to nudge you into paying more — just a service built around what your specific site needs.

20. Can I start with just Hosting and add edits or SEO later?

Yes, at any point. Plenty of clients start simple and move up once they see how much time the edits or SEO work actually saves them.

21. What happens if my site goes down?

I'm monitoring it, not waiting for you to notice and file a ticket. In most cases I'm already looking into an issue before you'd have known there was one.

22. Do you work with businesses outside Italy?

Yes, the vast majority of hosting clients are outside Italy. Hosting and website management don't require me to be in the same country, or even the same time zone, as you.

23. How quickly do you respond to edit or SEO requests?

There's no fixed office-hours desk here — I check messages throughout the day and reply as soon as I reasonably can, usually well within a working day.

24. Is my website data safe with you?

Daily backups, monitored security, and I don't share access with anyone else. If you ever want a copy of your own backups, you're entitled to one — it's your site.

25. How do I get started?

Message me on WhatsApp, Telegram, or email with a link to your current site (or a description of what you'd like built), and I'll come back with a clear plan and an honest quote.

Ready to stop thinking about hosting?
